pH must be maintained between 7.2 and 7.8. The most desirable level for pH is between 7.4 and 7.6. Test pools and spas regularly to maintain proper levels. The pH is lowered by adding ACID Magic. Carefully add ACID Magic at the deep end of the pool and avoid pouring ACID Magic near pool walls or fittings.
Due to the unexpected dry season were having, pool
water chemistry has not been affected much by acidic rainwater. If your
pool tends to have a high pH, you most likely need to add acid to
balance the water. For years we have carried four-gallon cases of
muriatic acid and various sizes of granular acid. In certain cases these
sizes have been inconvenient for some customers. For the upcoming
season, we have started carrying a new product called ACID magic. This
product is similar to full-strength muriatic acid and can be purchased
by the gallon or by the quart. ACID magic is more user
friendly and less hazardous to use. For the month of February, gallon
sizes of ACID magic will be reduced to $12.99 each from the regular
